Third Letter

I read this email and there is this "hijacked" thing again. I think when liberals use this term they are, consciously or unconsciously, trying to give "benefit of doubt" to religion, trying to be nice. Nothing wrong with that except that religion doesn't give any benefit of doubt to anyone. They should never expect that their favor will be returned. Although I don't like insulting someone's religious beliefs, I always try to show utmost respect to that, but I can't call something which it isn't. All three major religions have a history written with human blood.

I know that secularism confines the religion to a personal level. It actually espouses to secure the rights of individual to practice their respective religions. It's the other part of the equation, namely religion, which doesn't welcome this marriage. Talking about Islam, pure and undiluted, it denies to coexist with any other value system.

Thanks
