Dr Pervez Hoodbhoy is a Professor of Physics at the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, where he has taught for over 30 years. He holds a PhD in nuclear physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is the recipient of several wards including Abdus Salam Prize for Mathematics, the Baker Award for Electronics and the UNESCO Kalinga Prize for the Popularization of Science.
