A FRIEND
I see a soul so old and wise
Helps heal the hearts and minds he tries
Who sees with eyes that sparkle clear
To help the lost so far and near
 
From the East he came with visions true
To share his mind and soul with you
He walks the path in a humble light
With open arms no need for fright
 
In a land so rich with peace and plenty
We see sad hearts and heads of many
That’s why he came, its plain to see
His help and guidance for you and me
 
As we walk straight line and sometimes stumble
A fine man waits heart true and humble
To help us see in truth and light
And with open arms take away the fright
