POETS AND PROPHETS

Dear Farzana....I am so glad you agreed to be interviewed. It would give me a chance to have a meaningful dialogue. Why don't you come to Whitby one Sunday afternoon after the seminar. I will interview you and then we would go out for dinner. I will request Pervaiz if he could bring you to Whitby.
I hope your interview also inspires Tahir Qazi, Najib Kazmi and Subuhi Ansari to be interviewed. I think those stories will help many members of the Family of the Heart to do soul-searching and share their philosophical and spiritual dilemmas and dreams. All the best....sohail
PS...I am not sure why you got the idea that I do not take you seriously. If that was the case I would not have had a written dialogue and I would not be excited to interview you. We disagree on many subjects but that does not mean I do not respect you or your philosophy. Disagreements are a curse when they turn into conflict and produce tension and resentment and they are a blessing when they inspire both sides. I do not feel any tension or resentment. I feel rather inspired. I hope you feel the same. That is the secret of a genuine dialogue.
